In Pod 4, students select words from their list each week to learn as part of their homework and they are tested by a buddy on these words on a Friday.  Set list tests occur twice per term.  For list tests, students are tested on 20 words and they must spell 18-20 words correctly to pass that list.  Students on sea creature and tree lists must also write a sentence explaining the meaning of ten words.  Students on Titoki and Rewarewa lists must locate ten places on a map.
